Black Cat Cougar! - My new cutter

I recently purchased an 18 inch Black Cat Cougar and I have to tell you I am BLOWN away with it. I have been playing with it a little here and there since it arrived a few weeks ago. It definitely has a bit of a learning curve to it but oh my goodness what a sweet, sweet machine!  Check out Thyme Graphics for details about this incredible machine.

I found this shirt at my local Wal-Mart and had to have it! I struggled finding a name for her but then decided it would be based on this shirt

-- so her name is now  

 

Here are a couple of projects I have done so far with her -- I have not had a lot of time to play but once I get moved that will hopefully change.

My first accurate Print and Cut -- the numbers are my settings, please ignore those LOL

I made this glass block for my granddaughter - it was amazing how easy the vinyl cut - it was truly a dream cut! The coloring of the glass blocks was done with two different alcohol inks, very cool idea - a nice change from glass etching.

Birthday card for my granddaughter - the cherry blossom branch and flowers are from SVGCuts

This was my first true cut on my Cougar. I have loved these bookmarks for a while but could never get them to cut correctly on my previous machine (the E). These files are found free on the MTC Gallery

Spring time

I love Spring -- especially the flowers! I thought I would make a few new files and share them this morning. I have both as MTC files but only the lotus flower as an SVG as well. I am having some problems with 4Shared on getting the tulip svg file to upload. If you are wanting the tulip in svg let me know and I will email it to you.
